Wednesday evening is karaoke night at the Elks. It is hosted by Irv Brown whose friendly personality and beautiful voice add much to the evening’s enjoyment which starts at 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. It is free to all participants and listeners. The bar menu is available for those who want dinner or just want a drink.

People who attend karaoke night love the socializing and the opportunity to meet new people. Some come to listen, enjoy the entertainment, and have dinner. New singers are welcome to participate and enjoy the wonderful camaraderie. Everyone is supportive of each other, especially since this a fun amateur night. Denny has thousands of songs available. It is possible to hear anything from Dave singing “My Cellmate Thinks I’m Sexy” to Juanita’s “At Last.”

On the last Wednesday of every month, there is a potluck. This is everyone’s favorite night and fills up the room. If you would like to be reminded of potluck night, contact Marguerite Michas (through the Club Lounge) to be placed on the contact list. You will either receive a call or an email a few days in advance to remind you of the potluck.
